Village Hall

It is an ideal venue for people both inside and outside of Ashton Keynes. We have a substantial car park and a bus stop right outside.
The Main Hall has been redecorated and the chairs replaced – just look at the Photo Gallery to see the décor and how a large function can be laid out. The Main Hall caters for 120 people comfortably sitting. More people can attend if there is a mixture of sitting and standing (or dancing). There are 130 upholstered chairs and a further seven with wide bases and arms. We have a number of plastic chairs (both large and small) if required. There are plenty of tables in a variety of sizes.
The Ashton Keynes Room is used primarily by the Preschool. For larger functions we can clear one end of the room for storage a bar and/or presentation of the catering.
Shared facilities include a kitchen, male and female toilets, a separate disabled toilet with baby change facilities. The Hall meets with the current standards and recommendations for disabled access.
We are very happy to recommend caterers and assist in sorting out a bar. A Temporary Event Notice is not required as the Hall is fully licensed.
If you have any questions regarding the venue, contact any of the people listed below.
You can check availability on www.akvh.org.uk - if you are a regular User of the Hall, ask Dave Sheppard for a username & password to the bookings site, then you can make your own bookings.
