Should you wish to receive our Newsletter, you will be asked for explicit consent to allow the data provided (which may include personal data) to be retained for the use of the electronic distribution of the Newsletter. The only information required is a Name and Email address. The name can be anonymised on entry, whereas the email address must to be accurate in order for the requested Newsletter to be received. We accept that with some email addresses there could be sufficient information to identify a natural person. Our lawful basis for retaining and processing this data (for the email distribution) is your explicit consent, without which your request for the Newsletter would be discarded.
The Village Website provides an online option should you wish to be removed from the Newsletter Distribution email list. For amendments to the email address, either contact the Data Controller or erase you existing data and enter new information.
The Village Website maintains no other on-line data other than the Usernames and hashed passwords of those Authorised to login and maintain their own section of the website. As this refers to Village organisations and not individual people (natural persons) we consider that there is no personal data.
